Description

Offered here are two miniature decoys by George Thirion of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mr. Thirion made working decoys as well as miniatures and flyers. He is known for his folky decoys. I'm not 100% sure on the species, I'm guessing a hen mallard and a hen pintail. They are both painted differently. They each measure about 6" in total length. They are not signed on the bottom, it looked like at one time there were address stickers on the bottom. I've owned several of these over the years and some had stickers and some were signed on the bottom (see my other auction which is featuring two teal signed by him).
