Offered here are two miniature decoys by George Thirion of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mr. Thirion made working decoys as well as miniatures and flyers. He is known for his folky decoys. Included here are a drake green-winged teal and a hen blue-winged teal. They each measure about 5 1/2" in total length. They are both signed on the bottom Geo. Thirion 730 Pine Street Green Bay Wis 1981. The signatures aren't perfect, it looks like someone possibly lightly sanded the bottoms over the years.
