Description

This is an antique “flattie” style yellowlegs shorebird decoy in excellent original paint, circa 1900 and New England in origin. It is 10” long and 3 3/8” high plus another 3 5/8” for the stick. It is two dimensional and made from a 5/8” thick piece of pine. The paint is in exceptional condition and has a true folk art feel. The beak is original. There is no damage and no repair, but the stick has been glued in with white wood glue and needs to be drilled out if you want to change it. This was found in New England.
