Grubbs Drake Pintail decoy glass eye wood 1928-33 This Grubbs Drake Pintail decoy is well into its nineties, on its way to 100. Very scarce species, especially for a Grubbs. This decoy is in original paint. It is possible the right eye has been replaced — if so it was a while ago. There is also a spot on the pate that I can’t figure out that is either in the wood, or a factory filler. See pics.
