Description
This hollow decoy is from the estate of a decoy collector. All I can furnish is opinion. This does not appear to have been repainted. However, I once saw a D.B. Day drake mallard decoy made by the “new” Mason Decoy factory. I have never seen a Blackduck by them. There seems to be some wear on the decoy, but no repairs or breakage. I removed the round keel weight for a picture, and there does not appear to be any primer. I do not know if they were ordered that way on a special order. There are two holes from a staple line tie, apparently. This is a beautiful decoy, and we are pricing it as restored. Bid with confidence — 26 years of 100%.
